Maintenance of Halon 1301 systems
Maintenance is an important part in the case of HALON 1301 fire protection systems. Our firm has proficient Service Engineers who undertake the regular inspection and testing of HALON 1301 Systems. These maintenance checks are carried out in accordance with the recommendation of NFPA 12A and 12B.
Before going to site our Service Engineer would obtain relevant details and drawings of the system to be serviced. Our Service Engineering will ask your concern for representative to be present as a witness to ensure that the inspection is carried out to your satisfaction.
Our Service Engineer will undertake the following checks & inspections:
System cylinder inspection for any presence of joint leaks.
System Integrity Tests to evaluate the performance of HALON 1301 system in the event of fire.
Liquid level of HALON will be noted.
Weight of HALON 1301, temperature and pressure of cylinders will be checked.
A service Report will be prepared and submitted and our Engineer will retain a copy. It is necessary t have service visits on a half-yearly basis.
