Unfortunately, it has been noticed that HALON gas also depletes earth's Ozone layer, which protects our planet Earth from harmful Ultraviolet rays emitted by the Sun. Considering these facts and factors, the production of HALON gas has been ceased and the release of IIAI.ON to the atmosphere has been banned in accordance with the Montreal Protocol. Saudi Arabia, on its part to encourage environmental protection of our planet earth, pursuant to the Royal Decree No. M/1 dated 2/6/1413H, has joined both Geneva Convention and Montreal Protocol. However, it permits the re-charge of existing systems and equipment with Recovered, Recycled and Reclaimed HALON to assure the reliability of fire fighting systems.
